American Micro Products Inc
American Micro Products Inc (AMPI) is a family owned business founded by Gerard Paroz in 1957, when he emigrated to the USA from Switzerland. Beginning as Swiss Precision Machining in Cincinnati in 1988, the business evolved through American Connector Engineering (ACE) to form what became American Micro Connectivity Solutions. The focus then developed into glass to metal hermetically sealed connectors.
AMPI manufactures glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal, hermetically sealed electrical connectors. AMPI is on the DLA Qualified Products List (QPL) for MIL-DTL-38999 series I, II and III, MIL-DTL-83723 series III and MIL-DTL-26500. Also manufactured are commercial equivalents to MIL-DTL-5015, MIL-DTL-26482, EN2997 and ESC10. AMPI is also a significant producer of custom connectors, feedthroughs, headers and hermetic packages.
With 60+ years of mechanical engineering and precision machining experience coupled with over 30 years of electrical engineering experience and diverse knowledge of test methods, American Micro is well positioned to manufacture mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies with demanding requirements. Components are built to standards or custom designs, and private label according to customer specifications.
